The publisher in Boston who's been courting me called today and said my manuscript is up for review for Spring 2010 or Winter 2010 this week. I'll be very interested by what the committee has to say about it and what I'm going to have to change. Probably going to have to go up to Boston in the next month or so for contract negotiations with my professor/agent. Hoo boy. Hoping we don't jump the shark on this one. 

Got a collection of short stories by Russian authors in English/Russian that is extremely delightful. Got a collection of Anton Chekhov stories that made me giggle hysterically when I found it at the book fair. Lots of cook books I couldn't normally afford and an old Black Keys cd. Made shu mai and bi bim bob for dinner. Work when I have recovered from my rice coma.

I love the drawing style. They're so simple, but the line quality is very strong.
