Emma Watson has announced which Ivy League school she'll be attending in the autumn. The 19-year-old, who plays Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter franchise, previously said that she was attracted to American universities because of the anonymity she feels they can afford her. The actress has now confirmed that she will be a student at Brown University in Rhode Island.

The RISD/Brown campus just imploded from joy. This is even more exciting than when the prince of... some strange land went through the ID department a few years ago. I'm glad I moved away from Providence. Hoo boy. However, I'd love to be back at RISD admissions right now. I bet the gossip mill in the back just kneeled over from raucous seizures. The new Doctor Who outfit/Tardis and then this? All in one week?

lol, I know. It may happen (REGARDLESS OF THE PRESS RELEASE JESUS) just because Providence is a pretty deserted city. You just see people from class everyday... and that's it. Downtown is especially desolate. No one on the streets at night.

However, the gossip mills between the two schools are INTENSE.
