I am shoulders deep scrambling to finish concept art for deadlines and the internet is a far away dream to me now.

THIS IS A MOMENTOUS DAY. If you have been in any sort of communication with me in the last year or so you'll know that I am used to covering whatever wall is behind my desk in drawings for work. Where I am currently living, that is so not allowed. I cannot even.

Oh, yes.

Speak organizationally to me, baby. Usually I have this huge sheet of brown paper on the wall covered in drawings. It has been hella inconvenient.

There is also this string hanging from a branch outside of my window. A robin has been trying to get this string down for WEEKS. He swings on it by his beak and tugs and goes crazy trying to get it down for at least an hour a day.

I finally got a picture of this intrepid fool.

Also. Have a doggy:

Your room looks incredibly fascinating. I love seeing where other people work! And I wish I had a wall like that.

PUPPY! ♥ ♥ ♥

The blessing/curse is that my bed is always a foot away. Great because the dog can sleep next to me while I'm working. BAD BECAUSE THERE IS A BED 1 FOOT AWAY FROM ME. Temptation D:

Me too. Seeing what people put up in their cubicles or their working space is such an interesting insight into so many things.

She is sweet puppy <3 <3 <3 <3

My desk is facing my bed and um, yeah, it often convinces me to take a nap instead of actually doing things, but I DON'T CARE :D Naps are important, okay?

Is that your dog, then? What's her name? ♥

I dog sit her for a week or two every month so she's sometimes/totally my dog. Her name is Lainey. She is a somewhat elderly miniature poodle ♥♥♥♥♥♥

I'm not sure if having the desk facing the better is on par or worse than having the desk directly to the left D: we really need to move our furniture, bb.

NAPS MAKE THE WORLD GO ROUND.

She's giving me hearteyes ♥___♥ Eee.

:D It probably really isn't the best idea ever. But I sit on the other side of my desk, I can see the couch and that's just as good for napping as the bed. dlkafsjd. No surprise I simply never get things done...

*butts in* I put my desk at the opposite end of my room from where my bed is exactly for that reason, to avoid the temptation of nap time.

Also that is the biggest cork board I have ever seen . Also, also thanks for providing a pic of your workspace because I'm a creeper and like to see other people studious and apartments.

Also, also, also HAI PUPPY!

I think I originally put it there to give me the largest amount of space on the other side of the room to do pilates etc. / have a place for all my sheet music. I still use it for that but augh. Bed needs to be further away.

Oh my god getting up the stairs by myself was a cartoon. It kept sliding back down the stairs and I just didn't have enough leverage to keep it in place I am so damn small lolol. POST YOUR WORKSPACE. DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT.

She's asleep BUT SHE IS SAYING HELLO IN HER DREAMS.

Your experience with the cork board reminds me of that time I thought it would be a good idea to buy a carpet and transport it home by myself. I live pretty close to a subway station and the Ikea store isn't that far away either so I thought, no problem, just heft the carpet over my shoulder and walk. Except it was really windy that day and I'm also pretty small so there I was with this huge carpet, sweating and puffing and I kept listing heavily and basically almost died on that usually short and pleasant walk to the subway. And then I had to listen to stupid flying carpet jokes all the way home. WHAT IS MY LIFE :/

Who was making flying carpet jokes? Those cruel people.

I know I shouldn't be laughing. But I just can't help it. I admire your go getter, I can do it attitude but LOL paperflower. It sounds so miserable and muscle straining.

I went to school in Providence which is basically a city with lots of tall buildings. This creates obscene wind tunnels. You must carry all your 3x6 oil paintings and your glass canvas etc. from your dorm to the studio, which is across a river. After almost letting them fly through the windshields of several cars you reach the 1,000 pound door (which has since been replaced). After prying open the safe door to the building you then have to climb 5 floors to the painting studio and then back down again, in the rain, after class is over.

It's either torture. An excellent work out. Or the final level of a video game.

PUPPY! PUPPY! PUPPY!

I want that corkboard. I've been dreaming about putting a huge fuckoff piece of corkboard on one of my kitchen walls to keep shit organized and put up random pictures and art.

Also, you are way neater than me. My desk is always covered with piles of paper and crap. Fortunately, I know where everything is. Most of the time. Sometimes. Maybe.

I am so fucking relieved I finally have this. You should have seen me trying to get it upstairs by myself lol. Two steps up, three steps down, two steps up, slide back down. SOUNDS LIKE SOMEONE NEEDS SOME CHALKBOARD PAINT ON THEIR KITCHEN WALLS :D :D :D :D :D

I had to clean my desk to get the board on top of it. Plus. As you can see. My desk is actually really tiny? So unless I'm painting I'm just moving things back and forth from under my bed to on my desk to under the bed to keep room free. Or storing things in the HUNDREDS OF SMALL DRAWERS ON EITHER SIDE. aksdljgjgrrerwaiszfjniguuqhwehdsizkfgrtrweafdxgy4awesdxvcgxd
